The pond side studio often hosts crochet get togethers on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon, it is indeed a very pleasant way to spend an afternoon with like minded crochet enthusiasts as we fill the studio or the glorious grounds with yarn and project chatter.
CROCHET RETREAT
A fabulous all day crochet retreat is being hosted on Saturday 24th June 2023 from 9.00am - 9.00pm
The full one day retreat will include..
Gift bag containing all yarn and pattern for your project plus other goodies. Continental breakfast, individual picnic lunch boxes, hot supper, plus beverages and treats available all day.
Quaint shop will be set up on site and our guest Anna from Mimosa Springs alpacas will be there with some of her gorgeous girls for a hands on meet'n'greet and talk.
The studio will be the communal crochet room where Sandy will guide you through your project, weather permitting you can wonder the grounds and find yourself a scenic spot under the shade of the many trees, perhaps at the waters edge or under a quaintly decorated gazebo. Let the nature and serenity be your inspiration. If the weather doesn't allow to work outside i am sure there will opportunity to take a break, stretch your legs and busy hands to take in breaths of nature.

WHAT LEVEL OF ABILITY IS THE RETREAT FOR...
The projected provided will be suitable for all levels including a beginner who has knowledge of basic stitches but please note this is 'not a learn to crochet' day. A lot of emphasis will be put on creating a gradient colour-way with the yarn provided and learning to embellish your project rather than complicated stitch work.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING...
You will receive all materials that are needed for the day but you will need to bring your own hooks, stitch markers, scissors, tapestry/yarn/ plus sewing thread needles (maybe neutral colour sewing thread).
FULL ONE DAY RETREAT...
Cost $ 190. per person includes 3 meals, unlimited beverages and treats, all yarn, pattern, yarn needed for embellishments plus beads and buttons.
Deposit of $50. non refundable is required upon return of booking form. Retreat must be paid for in full by 3rd June 2023 .
If full payment has not been received by this date we reserve the right to reallocate your place with loss of deposit. Any last minute cancellations will regrettably result in no refund unless a replacement can be found.
